My name is Catherine McGlynn, wife of Sean McGlynn, a solicitor based in his home town of Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland. My husband qualified in 1987 and worked in a local solicitors office until we opened our own office, Sean McGlynn & Co. on the 20th of August 1990.
Our client base includes many natives of Donegal together with their extended families. The majority of our business is referals from existing clients, their friends and their families.
We first became acquainted with the Victims of the Legal Profession through the case of Madge Friel, deceased, who died on the 31st of March 2001.
Since becoming acquainted with the Victims of the Legal Profession we have suffered nothing but abuse, slander, lies, and defamation. As has anyone and everyone involved in this case including our Barrister, Niall O'Neill, court staff both of the Circuit Court in Letterkenny and the High Court in Dublin, Judges, the Garda Siochana (Police), the then Taniste (Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister) Mary Coughlan, friends and family.
